We got tired of rebuilding sites and giving vague data answers
Nimbu started inside an agency, not a pitch deck. Zenjoy built and ran client sites, shops, and authenticated tools for years. The same two problems kept eating margin.
The stack moved underneath finished work
Every framework cycle turned a shipped site or tool into a rebuild the agency absorbed as unplanned cost. No framework churn, no migrations, no surprise re-estimate. That was the first discipline we built for.
The data answer was complicated
When a client's legal team asked where customer data lived and who could reach the authenticated parts, the honest answer was hard to give. We built a platform where the answer is structural, not a workaround.

A European company, not a European data center
There is a difference between a US company with a European data center and a European company. The first is a hosting choice. The second is structural, and structure is what survives a court invalidating a data-transfer framework.
Nimbu is built and run by Zenjoy, a Belgian company under EU jurisdiction, regulated by the APD. Customer data is hosted in the EU. GDPR consent ships inside the platform via the consent_manager Liquid tag. Sensitive customer fields are encrypted at rest with keys held in the EU.
