A data answer your client's legal team will accept
Squarespace is a US-incorporated company running on US cloud infrastructure. Nimbu is built and run by Zenjoy, a Belgian company under EU jurisdiction, regulated by the APD. Customer data is hosted in the EU. Sensitive customer fields are encrypted at rest with keys held in the EU. That is architecture, not a setting you toggle.
Consent ships with the platform
Model consent purposes, applications, and cookies. Drop a privacy-first banner into any theme with one Liquid tag, consent_manager. On Squarespace, consent is handled by a third-party tool you bolt on and re-audit.
